The West Central Coast District will be hosting “A Presidential Golf Tournament” at Alisal Ranch Golf Course on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
As a little background on our incoming State President, Lance was born in Jamestown New York joining the Navy after graduating high school in 1966. He served aboard the U.S.S.Ticonderoga as an Aircraft Support Supervisor and Master of Arms Officer. A Vietnam Veteran, Lance also served in the Gulf of Tonkin during the 1968 Tet Offensive. After being discharged he continued his education and earned his B.A. in Personnel Management and continued his service to the community as a CHP Officer in Glendale. Joining the Santa Maria Elks Lodge in 1994 and transferring to Atascadero in 2004 Lance has continued to show his dedication to the Elks at every possible turn.
A B-B-Q Dinner with awards and silent auction will follow the tournament at the Solvang Vets Hall and hosted by The Santa Ynez Valley Elks Lodge #2640.
